Loking for a dyno close by

I need to locate a dyno(chassis) somewhere near nashville tn, or evansville in.
Does anyone here have knowledge of a good shop?

Is there already a list of dynos on this site and i just can't find it?
Thanks for any help.

Hi.

You can try using DynoJet's facility locator at:

http://www.dynojet.com/dyno_centers/...tive/index.php

I got a hit: ( none in Nashville ??? )

Total Performance and Accessories
4301 Vogel Rd.
Evansville 47715
Tel: 812-491-DYNO (3966)
Website: www.4totalperformance.com

You are right - some shops are more 'appropriate' than others - a ricer shop may not be equipped to handle an F150, for instance - in more ways than one . And some charge more than they should.

Hopefully the good folks here can recommend a local shop that will do it right for ya.

I gave up looking in my locale, and just bought an Innovate LM-1 tuner kit myself.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

Hi.

No - it's in addition to the datalogging capability of the X2. The LM-1 is a wideband O2 recorder (the version in question is called the 'tuner' version due to it's mobility & features that allow quick connections for multiple vehicles).

The LM-1 provides the required Air-fuel ratio info needed for proper & complete Load datalogging, if you don't use a dyno facility.

Of course, you don't get the nifty dyno graphs with HP/torque numbers .

But, if you plan on datalogging often, or are a gadget nut (that would be me), or if you can spread the investment over a couple of friends, then the unit can pay for itself in dyno time...

More info here:
