Bought an Innovate LM-1

OK here's the question....

I bought an LM-1 kit w/o the RPM converter. Can I still data log my A/F without the converter? Or is it totally useless? Is this thing pretty straight forward or do I need to be a scientist to figure it out? I haven't read anywhere "YET" where it says you have to have the converter.

Any info would be great....Thanks,

Corey

You need the RPM converter to datalog with your SCT tuner. There is no way to match a/f's with the other datalogging other than by Rpms. g luck

Hi.

Well, you can always log the A/F analog output from the LM-1 into the X2 and selecting the analog-in parameters in Livelink. The X2 will provide the RPM data (it's one of the required datalogging parameters anyway).

See SCT's and Innovate's site/docs for more info - there's some simple math involved, but folks are doing this & I'm playing with it as well, even though I do have the RPM converter, just to see how stuff works, I guess.

Also seems dependent upon which version of LiveLink you have.

It's all in the reading & research...

Hope this helps.

Cheers
