I'm more confused now, than I was yesterday...

When you hook the Edge to your truck, and go into the power programming page, there are 4 options.

Level 1 (trans only)
Level 2 (towing)
Level 3 (performance)
Return To Stock

Did you select the 4th option, to have the Edge unit write the original PCM data it saved, back to your trucks PCM?

If you did load new versions of Edge to your computer, I remember that your Edge will prompt you to return your program to stock before uploading any new software. This happened to me, I thought I did return to stock before disconnecting it from the truck but when I connected to my computer I had a prompt to return to stock. So this is no longer a problem/issue related to no start.

Not sure why this turned into a Edge vs Troyer thread

Bill from Edge made an effort to get a hold of me, but our schedules conflicted a little, so I'll try to get a hold of him this morning. He doesn't seem too concerned about getting me up and running, but I'm curious as to what happened. I did have it back to stock before I updated because I filled up, put it back to stock and drove around for a while and really noticed the difference from Level 3 to stock. I really shows how much of an impact that ANY tuner has on our trucks!! I know that the software gives you a heads up if you are not back to stock and will not continue unless you do so.

Thanks for those who tried to help, and I'm sure that EDGE and Troyer have nothing but good intentions for their customers.

Geesh... I've removed oodles of posts... looks like *some* folks are trying to go back to the 'my daddy can beat up your daddy' paradigm...

For those of you who don't know, we aren't playing that game any longer. A couple of you are on the very thin line of getting a temporary-forced hiatus from f150online.com because some of you seem to not realize that we no longer tolerate this childish, immature, troll-like, stupidity.

Make notes if you had a post deleted. We have on this end...

Let us know how it works out. I'm curious to know how your stock tune got corrupted.

Good luck, and hope he gets you up and running soon.

Back up and running!!

Bill was a huge help! It took a little while but he figured out the correct code to get me going. My battery was pretty much dead by the time we got everything straight because on Saturday I got the truck to start a dozen times it just stalled after a few seconds, so it never got a chance to charge. Bill did mention that since I had the original code in the Edge and I made the jump to the new code that there may have been a slight issue by doing that. Most of us should be okay, but there is a small chance it might happen to others.

Thanks Bill!!

Upgraded today successfully...Where's the next load?

I upgraded for the first time since receiving my Edge EVO today. Frankly, I haven't upgraded until now because I was scared my truck would stall. Everything upgraded fine and truck runs great! I did see earlier references to being able to see what the stock tire size is on a new firmware upgrade. Haven't seen the upgrade yet and was wondering what the status is? I still think my speedo is incorrect and I don't have a GPS to measure against.

do any of yall still feel that the power still isnt the same as it used to be. I used to get 16 flats on the tow tune, with 87 octane and that was in 2wheel drive. Now the best time i have gotten is 16.39 with a 4 wheel drive launch and in two wheel drive best i get is a 16.54. Trust me i have double checked everything and its all the same set up except for with these runs i was running 92 octane, so i had my timing advanced. Also when i program my truck to shift at 5300 it will shift at 5100 and when i program to 5400 it will still shift at 5100, very weird but true.

I did notice my speedo was a little off. I need to check my tire size, but it said I was going 75mph when I was following a line of cars in a 45

Power seems to be the same if not better. Funny thing is with the original tune from Dec I could never spin my tires at launch, now I have a hard time making them stick..........nice problem to have
