boost dump turned off in Troyer tunes?
Hey Mike,
I can't remember specifically talking about this with you but do you by default turn off the boost dump feature for Lightnings? For my 2003 Lightning, which you've tuned a few times and I specifically have a "race" tune (I am the guy with the SCT6600 chip that we had the tuning/cable position issues with recently). I was wondering if that is turned off in my tune or if I should do the bypass for it. I race about every weekend during season and have not had it happen to me yet after a burnout so was thinking maybe it is already turned off. However, it would suck to lose in elimination rounds b/c she dumped boost on me and I hadn't taken care of this simple item! Thanks.

Hi SS,
Yes, I remember your situation well!
And yes, in our Lightning & factory-supercharged Harley & Cobra tunes, we *always* turn the boost dump off, so there is no need for any kind of boost bypass kit or to unplug that solenoid, etc - we simply shut it off in the PCM, so it's always gone, no problem!
