XCal2+Datalogging+Dyno=Done!

Actually, I wanted to say XCal2+Datalogging+Dyno=

Runs pretttty good. I've had the Xcal about 2 weeks now from MT. I've been having fun getting familar with it as well as the Live Link Software.
So I made a Dyno apt. for this am. I found a place pretty close with a Dynometer Dyno. They had to rearrange a few cars to get the beast in. They usually do imports, Mustangs and had quite a few vehicles in the shop.

What a blast, did 5 runs total. I took my daughter with me, who has been hanging around with me and my toys (cars) all of her life. I taught her how to drive a stick on a '69 Vette. She was like," Dude, that was freakin' awesome".

Pretty good deal too, 5 pulls $65.00. They had a little bit of a hard time trying to figure out how to save the A/F's in the format Mike wanted. But I called Troyer Performance and they walked them through what they wanted. Thanks Mike.

So hopefully all the data logging I faxed and e-mailed in is useful. Now I have to find something else to play with.

Jon

They're Toyo Open Country A/T 305.55.20's. . Just a 2" leveling kit in the front.

I have 305/50-20 Goodyear Eagle GT II's and they are great for the street, don't know about using them offroad though.

Congrats on the datalogging. Its a lot of fun and sounds like you got a very good deal. What were your power and torque numbers?

Well...I guess you don't Have to. It is highly recommended just to make sure it's dialed in properly. The dyno guy said the A/F's looked really good to him. He seemed impressed with the results. I wanted to get a base line before and after.

Stock: 219.85 H.P. 240.50 Torque
92 oct perf: 251.42 H.P 300.72 Torque

Where did you get the dyno done at? I live near Portland and if my memory is correct you are in Vancouver??? I have the SuperCab like yours and want to get the dyno done soon also. $65 sounds like a good price.

I live in the Portland area too, and will be getting the MT Tuner as well, so I appreciate the tip on the Dyno! Do you have any other mods to your truck or are those numbers just with the tuner?

Thanks!
Dave

Hey Kevin, i see you are finally getting to drive your truck. It looks brand new! What a bummer about your xcal2, but it won't be long. I sure enjoy mine now. I have the 3 basics, exhaust ,tuner, and intake now and i am extremely happy with the performance. The intake really opened it up. I can't wait until the next dyno day at Troyers, i might be making a road trip!
