I called GMS Granatelli, they make the DiabloSport Preditor flash tuner.They don't have a tuner for the 06 4.2 but the guy on the phone stated that if he gets calls for them he will work on breaking codes and put one on the market.Told me to call back in a month to see if there is a change.
Does anyone know of a tuner for a 06 4.2 ltr offered out there?

Dang! Even the 4.2L gets more horses and torque with that tuner than my 4.6... I'm definately not goin that route...

 

Get yourself a Bamachips XCal2. Doug is known for his Ford V6 tuning.

Ordered my xcal2 today!I think Mark was very helpful in process.He did some research for me on the06 4.2 and hopefully soon I'll have an AF1 air system comming also.Man, what do I need NEXT???????????????????????Turbo, SUPERCHARGER ?The list in my head keeps on going and going and going.

And yes, as more time goes by, there will be more and more performance parts for your 4.2 F-150, so hang in there - the real kicker is a matter of pure production numbers - the more 4.2's that Ford builds in the new body style, the more manufacturers will get on board with performance parts for them, so that will happen in more & more areas of modification as time goes by.
