I have a 1714 and I like it alot. Made a great improvement over stock and it I feel that it is a safe and conservative tune. If I had a dyno local and Troyer's leadtime wasnt a month out, I would have a Troyer tuned XCAL2. I may order one in the future. Id like to see a dyno sheet of the two against each other.

The 9100 and XCal2 can hold the same "tune" so you won't gain power going from one to another.

People like to be able to "customize" thier truck, no reason why thier programmer should not be able to do the same, this is the most common reason why people reccomend a custom tunable solution vs a canned tuner that cannot be custom tuned.

mikes tuning is great, ive had the flip chip in my old truck and xcal and xcal2 in my lightning and love reponse from both. i went with the xcal because i am constantly changing things with my truck and want the flexibility to do so without worrying bout anything, i datalog or dyno and send mike the data and i get a new tune. the 1745 is a good tuner and if u have done basic mods and prolly wont do any big changes, it might be perfect tuner for ya, it just depends on ur plan for the truck
