I know I used Bama Chips for my Explorer and loved it just too bad the tuner is the older version and I can not use it with my 150.

 

I went on record long ago talking about the personal attacks that have been flying around in here. As is such, fourpointsix has been suspended. I simply **WILL NOT** tolerate childish, immature, and unwarranted blanket statements from any single member.

Further, this has NOTHING to do with any affiliation with any individual tuner, brand of tuner, or anything else other than the personal attack so go ahead and loose that thought of rationale.

You know guys... I'm really not the butthole that some people believe I am. Unfortunately, because of the nature of a moderator position, you're remembered by the 'bad' things that impact certain people rather than the help and structure for the site that you provide. I try to make it a personal goal to treat people as I'd want to be treated but, unfortunately, it's difficult to do sometimes because of the tone and rationale (or lack there of) that is demonstrated repeatedly.

What happed, and what spawned my earlier post, was that several individuals were attacked by name. While I'm all for someone mentioning that they're happy with the performance, customer service, deals and any other 'positive' aspect that they've obtained from an individual merchant, it does get old when it's repeated over and over and over. I think that, often times, this pushes some people over the edge to the point that they feel it necessary to lash out. When this happens, because of a burden of frustration that I carry around on this site because I want it to be top notch, I lash out. For me, it's somewhat out of character but, I do it on occasion -- and probably will in the future.

I've made mistakes along the way as a moderator and will in the future I'm sure. I'm human. But, when the subject has been beaten to death ten times over, it's the frustration factor that causes me to move in a fashion that may not be exactly perfect -- certainly memorable unfortunately.

I, honestly, -- and I mean that -- could care less who uses what tuner and who programmed it. I'm really cut from the cloth of buy what you want and enjoy it. I don't care if it's Uncle Billy's Chicken Coupe Tunes-R-Us... I really don't. What I am VERY tired of is the continuous 'My Daddy is Better than Your Daddy' exchanges that has stretched the frustration factor out and well over the edge. If you're happy with what you've got, that's what matters. The necessity to lash out isn't a necessity.

Whether or not I've made good or bad decisions in enforcing the policies that are being interpreted here is totally up for debate. I'll never claim to know it all - I don't. On this one though, I feel it necessary to take a hard-lined stance on this issue and enforce it to the nth' degree. This, in turn and in my view, will make f150online.com a better place to be and, more importantly, to share information. Bickering and such simply detracts from this paradigm and it's something I don't want to overshadow what we have here at the site.

For those of you that steer the course and help, contribute, and enjoy the site -- thank you. I sincerely appreciate it. For those of you who lurk in the background and enjoy what is available, free of charge, from an information standpoint -- thank you; you all are very important to what we have. For those of you who want to continually rock the boat, we'll have more conversations like this and more people will be upset and remember the decisions that we, as staff, will make. I'm sorry but, it's the way we're set up and the way that the site is managed.

I beleive I have read that all F-150 orders go through J usnes Modified. The owner of bamachips will just redirect you to them, if i'm not mistaken.
