Hi Fordmuscle,

Though I must confess that isn't my favorite company, it's only fair to point out that this is not a normal result of using their product, just to let you know.

I really don't know what is going on with your truck - but it certainly isn't normal to have a problem like that. The OBD-II connector uses the same fuse as the cigarette lighter for it's source of powering devices connected to it, just FYI - so you might want to check your fuse there just as a matter of making sure the OBD-II port gets proper power so it can "phantom" power devices attached to it, and so the cigarette lighter receptacle gets power as well.

I'm afraid I really can't diagnose this for you here, but I did just want you to know that this is not a normal or typical result of attempting to flash the PCM, just speaking in general, with anyone's products.

Sorry I'm not more help to you, & let us know how this turns out for you!

the flickering stopped, but i'm gonna continue my research on programmers. Diablo pissed me off. It clearly states 99-03 F-series, my truck is an 03 and Their tech support told me it wasnt configured or able to support my truck......thats ****ed up oh well, THE QUEST CONTINUES
