just wanted to follow up and thank mr. troyer again so much for the help and wealth of information he gave me, and everbody else by explaining with so much detail here on the website. i recieved the email with the upgraded tunes exactly like he already mentioned, and since today it was above freezing, uploaded the XCal2 with the correct settings. it seems crazy but it feels like again, a completely different truck. i was kinda amazed because i thought it would be all the same thing, just some tweak in the computer, but for some reason the thing actually seems faster than it had been previously. AWSOME. Just hope i loaded everything in saftely and didnt mess anything up. I knew it before, but i definitely agree with triumphman's statement, mikes tuning service and knowledge is awsome, and he really is a cool guy to talk to. THANKs again mike and everybody else who gave me information/suggestions!

John

Hi Delta17,

Thanks for your post - and I was going to tell you in my previous post that I had done a bit more than just that one set of adjustments we talked about, but I really wanted to see if you would notice anything first - so I bit my tongue off not saying anything.

The truth is, I went over each of your tunes, and updated them with all the latest things that we have developed for those "older" late-model trucks like you 1997 model - we always continue tuning development for these vehicles, each time we get an "older" vehicle to tune we get every bit from it we can without compromising durability - and over enough time, you develop more things to do - so we just updated you with a few things we're doing a little bit differently now on those "older" models.

I'm delighted that you noticed and are enjoying the difference!

Have fun,
