Talking Got the e-mail today

Finally it's on its way back, it has been over a month since i've had my truck tuned. Not that Mike had it that long, infact he turned it around pretty quick. He must have worked on it over the News Years weekend because it was not done last Friday when i called, now thats great service. I got 3 day shipping so I should tuned again by this weekend. For those of you who dont want to go through the wait again like i did, DONT LET THE DEALER REFLASH YOUR PCM.

Thanks for the great service Mike

I was just wondering what price range you paid for a new tune.

I sent mine in for a firmware update about the middle of December and am still waiting. He must be very busy. Wanna trade spots?

They told me they were going to replace the Motor Mounts for a rough idle that I had. They also reflashed the PCM as part of the TSB. Now the truck idles really smooth but I had to get my tunes re-done.

What did it cost to get your tunes "re-done"

Hello tdmr,

This is just FYI so you'll know for future reference - nobody is to quote our pricing here, nor cna we discuss that here on F-150 Online, as that is against the rules here.

Also, it's not any kind of set fee that applies to everyone in all situations, either - not by a long shot. See, we price that strictly based on just how much work we have to do, so that it's fair and just for each individual's needs - so it just depends on how much work we have to do. Now when we're talking about making *adjustments* to our baseline custom tuning, like when someone has ordered our custom tuning, they get it, and then they datalog and send us that info, there is NO charge for us to make those adjustments, as long as it's within 60 days of the time they get the tuning and they have not made any additional changes or modifications in the meantime.

If there is anything more specific you want to know about the pricing of any of our products or services, please feel free to contact *us* directly, I've just give you this brief info just as kind of an "FYI" thing to give you a rough idea in general, and I hope that info helps - for any further detail,s please just give us a quick call & we'll be happy to help, OK?

Thanks in advance for your understanding on this!

Hi MHP,

Glad you got the email notification with your tracking number for your shipment!

And yes, we did work throughout the entire New Years (and Christmas) weekends in oder to get as much done as possible, as we know how anxious everyone is to get their tunes done, or adjusted, changed, or whatever we're doing for them.

We'll just be tickled pink for you to be able to enjoy your tuning, what with dealer reflashing you & not telling you anything about it, & us having to find out the new revision, etc., if memory serves I think that was what we had to do in your case.

The main thing is that you enjoy it when you get it, so with that, I'll wish you GOOD LUCK!

Thanks Mike, actually I found out about the reflash when I got my paper work from the dealer. It had the new PCM code and the file name on it, I sent that info back with the tuner. With all the tunes you do I would not expect you to remember small details like that. The tracking said that it will be here on Fri. so the wait is almost over.

Again Thank You
Gary

Thanks Mike

I totally understand about the pricing issue and hopefully I wont have to call you folks about this because the dealer has reflashed the PCM...

I'm just happy that your new tuning will soon be there, so you can finally get to enjoying it like you should be!

HI tdmr,

Thanks very much for your kind understanding on that, and we too, hope you won't have to deal with a dealer reflash!!

If you ever have a question about that, or just want to make sure once you have ordered your tuning, we can send you out a device so you can check it in advance to make sure if you like - so feel free to call us about that if you feel that is appropriate, OK?
