I tried a search but didn't find what I was looking for.

I just got a superchips 1715 for my 01 s'crew and I want to load it with the 91 perf tune , but I have a tank that is half 87 and half 91 ot the moment.

The question is can I load the tune anyway, or can i buy a bottle of the octane boost or won't that help.

 

From what I have found on the net, the octane boosters "in general" are ineffective.
Just burn up the gas and then switch

 

Dont use octane boost.
I thought i had to use it as the cbook says 93 octane min.
I live in ca. and the max. octane is 91,
After a couple of tanks of gas,i ended up spending over 500.00 for a rental and new plugs. jeff
