05SilverFX4,

Should be no problem!

If you can't zip it, just go ahead send it.

Thanks much!

Gene

I will send you an e-mail.

Depeding on how small it will go zipped. I should be able to get up to 5 megs. I know 10 meg will reject. I will also contact SCT to try and fix the issue.

Thanks Steve, I received it and was able to unzip it after going on line and downloading the trial version of winrar.

It looks like I have all that is needed to run it.

I have a son in Pensacola, anywhere close to you? I'll tell him he owes you a beer for me.

Again Thanks!
Gene

Hey Guys,

This is very simple - go to their home page and MANUALLY go right into their download section so you can get the latest version - it has been massively UPDATED and is much larger.

Now this version, along with those who have firmware version 1.1 (NOT 1.3) in their XCal 2's, should hopefully be able to datalog using only the XCal 2 without a laptop in the car - just fire up the LiveLink on your home PC, connect the XCal 2 and then plug in the parms you want to datalog. That is how it is supposed to work, but what I do NOT know (because I have not had time to play with it between tuning 20 vehicle a day and building a new shop and.........oh yeah, my wife's birthday and Christmas, both of which I completely forgot!!) if they actually got all of that incorporated in THIS particular version.

So don't shoot me if that doesn't work - and don't call us for Tech Support on that software or put up posts here for Tech Support on that software, either - go to the manufacturer's web site where they have tutorials and/or get their number and call them. We don't write the software, so we don't support it - that has to be done by the people that write it.

Seriously, in the new version you will have a lot more functionality and a lot of fun, I don't know what all made it into this release - I got it over a week and a half ago and still haven't loaded it up yet, we're using 2.18 and numerous other tools.

Have fun,
