I am upgrading my fuel injectors, so I can remove the FMU from my Vortech charged 5.4. I can buy the 42lb bosch injectors, but I have a friend with a set of 50lb Delfi injectors. I have the twin lightning fuel pumps, and Lightning MAF. Will I be able to run the 50lb injectors? Anyone else running them? btw, the charger is pushing 10psi... if that makes any difference. i keep readin where lightning guys are having problems with the 50s so most just go with 60s. might get a good response to this if u post it in lightning forum, alot may not look at other forums much.

Correction me if I'm wrong....but isn't a Lightening MAF factory cal'd for 42lb injectors? Unless there is a way to re-program the L-MAF (there wasn't when I was into it), it's not going to work w/ mis-matched injectors. I used to run the L-MAF and 42's on a previous Vortech charged stang.....it was a reliable combo which gave me best drivability results. In my case, if I wanted to go w/ 50lb injectors....I'd have to go w/ a universal MAF such as a Pro-M that can be cal'd accordingly.

 

What about a combination of the lightning maf and the diablo MAF.ia? The mafia is designed so that you can up the injectors, without switching mafs. Anyone here try the Diablo MAF.ia?

I have a Sct tuner and a Mafxtender. I thought you could only use the MAfia if you have the Predator?
