Xcal 2 Has Arrived
Xcal 2 Has Arrived
The Day has finally come. Tonight around 7:30, THE BIG BROWN TRUCK arrived at my house and my tuner was FINALLY in my hand......
I couldn't believe it. I read over all of the manuals as stated, so that I wouldn't rush into things, went into my truck, and with a few simple instructions my truck was locked and loaded. In preperation for the 91 octane performance tune, I had been using 91 for the past three weeks. If this makes a difference I don't know, but I'm sure it didn't hurt. I turned on my truck and it came to life, yet the first thing i quickly noticed was that it seemed to idle lower, at about or around 7-800. The truck actually seemed smoother. This was a good sign. I backed out and turned the corners I needed to to get to the main street...my foot was just itching to floor it. I looked both ways, made sure nobody was coming, and I was OFF@!!! Now I know everybody has said this...but let me just say it again....OH MY GOD!!!!!!!
I couldn't believe this was the same truck. The shifts were alot firmer, and when I pressed on the gas, it actually took off like a bat out of hell. When I finally came to a stop, I wanted to see what would happen if I punched it...let me just say, I wont be doing to much of this due to the fact that I don't want to buy new tires quite just yet. Needless to say, I got alot of tire squeel and my face hurt so much from the HUGE smile i had from ear to ear..
The bottom line is....MIKE, I just wanted to say thank you for providing the BEST customer care I have ever recieved in my LIFE. Your phone call made me realize why they say you are the best. You along with your wonderful and courteous staff is the reason TROYER PERFORMANCE will always be #1 in customer service and care department as well as the performance world.
I LOVE MY TRUCk and I can't wait to datalog....P.S...for those of you who are still waiting on your XCAL 2...trust me...its so worth the wait

Nice post tigga, can't wait !! ( paperwork faxed in 10/27 ) I think I just filled up with 87 octane for the last time yesterday, $1.98 at local Hess. Next fill up will be 93 octane, in prep for the 93 octane max perf tune ! Might as well start gettin used to +.20 cents more for gas..

Just got in from out of town , Yuma AZ..to Phoenix Az,,...I'd say about 400miles up and back. Is it possible for my truck to feel better than it did the first day of installation??? I know there is a learning process the cpu's go through, so I'm starting to become a believer. Anyways...as the cpu has began to adjust to the new tuning, i'm starting love driving this thing more and more. There was more than one time that I had to catch myself going 85-90mph since the truck now has such a smooth and quick acceleration. Not only does the truck kick in from a get go...but all around it's a whole new truck. I hope everyone had a good and safe thanksgiving!!!
I am counting down the days until my Xcal2 gets here. From all the great reviews, I know I will be happy. Lets just hope my Titan owning cousin does not get to jealous.

Hi Tigga,
Thanks for your post, I'm so glad we made you happy with your truck!
I felt bad because somehow, one tune that was supposed to be after yours got done 1 day ahead of yours, so even though you had already called us to upgrade the shipping to overnight, we picked up your overnight shipping cost, as I wanted you to have it as quick as possible and felt we needed to do a little something to make up for that one tune somehow getting out of here ahead of yours (there's a first time for everything!)
Have fun enjoying your tuning, & don't burn those tires up, they get expensive (ask me how I know?).
Thanks again for your post & have fun!
