Talking How about a Dallas/Ft. Worth Troyer Dyno Day?

Would anyone be interested in a Dallas/ Ft. Worth Troyer dyno day?

Also, if you have any dyno location suggestions please list those as well. I know of Speedtek in Arlington and A&S Automotive in Keller.

Please respond on the thread.

Also, I have ordered my XCal from Troyer about 2 weeks ago and it will be in December when I get it so the proposed dyno day will have to be after the Christmas holidays and New Years. If anyone has any suggestions just let me know.

Thanks,

Trey Bingham

Did you see Mike's response to bigtruck311?

From Mike
All kidding aside, the reality is that this is something that will need to be worked out privately, off the boards. There are numerous things to consider, just as you mentioned in your post - the various lodging, transportation, timeframe, number of vehicles, etc issues to be worked out. My suggestion is for all of those who are interested to perhaps get together and designate someone to be the "point man" on this - and then whoever that is (you, for example?), give us a call to go over all of the various details and get it worked out.
For more on his response about dyno days check out

tbizzle,
I live close enough to Dallas that if I don't have my datta logging done by the time your proposed event I too would be interested. It just kind of sounded to me like Mike would prefer that you call and talk to him before attempting to build a list on the board. Mike seems to be kind of a stickler about following instructions. I hope you get it worked out. Thanks for stepping up and volunteering to be the "point man" in our area.
Bruce

He!! Yeah!

I would come to a DFW Troyer Performance Dyno Day!!!

My XCal will be here in the next week or so, I hope. So a Dyno Day would work really well for me...

I too am definitely interested! I've had my x-cal II since late August. Since I'm not too computer literate I'll be damned if I can figure out this datalogging stuff. My truck runs great but I want to make sure its right. I will definitely kick in on the expenses involved Mike.

Sure Thing!!!

I would most definitely be up for it. Been hoping to have one here as it seems to have been held too far away in the past .

Hey Guys,

It's perfectly fine to work out a list of those interested here on the boards, no problem at all -

What I was referring to in terms of needing to speak about privately off the boards are the specific details regarding costs for things like transportation, lodging, tuning costs, etc. You know, the kind of "price" & other details that we normally need to keep off the boards, that's all.

So feel free to keep up your discussions, and you might also want to read some of my suggestions for another way to do this in this thread: https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=217578

So by all means, continue your discussions, see who all is *seriously* interested, designate a point man to coordinate the basics with us (instead of us talking with each individual about all the same details, though of course we're happy to talk to everyone to answer any specific questions on the procedure, etc.), & whatever else you need to do to bring this to fruition!
