Do you guys think it would be better to get Mike to come to Dallas or let him tune us by phone. He left a pretty descript post on the over the phone method here on another thread.

Keep in mind that was just a thought - and remember, the dyno facility does NOT need to be an SCT dealer, so it can be ANY dyno facility, all they need to be able to do is to do proper dyno pulls and test the A/F's - you guys will be datalogging using the XCal 2 and a Windows XP-based PC, which will also be how you'll get the tuning changes and your datalogging emailed back and forth to us, so this can really work very smoothly. All that is required is for someone to have a Windows-based PC (preferably a laptop as that is easiest fort datalogging), as one PC can be used to load the tuning changes we make for everyone and send & receive the emails with us standing by all day or all of 2 days or however long it takes based on how many vehicles are to be done - no special equipment is needed when we're tuning the vehicles using either the original XCalibrator (9300) or the XCalibrator 2 (9400)!

For example, for those who do not have their XCal 2 yet, what we would do is to go ahead and do our "baseline' custom tuning for each of those vehicles and ship the unit out in advance - and then when everyone goes to whatever dyno, as each vehicle is datalogged we simply make whatever changes are needed and email the new tunes to your PC there.

And for those we have already tuned who already have their XCal 1 or 2, again, they just put their vehicle on the dyno and do the datalogging using someone's XCal 2 and the Windows XP-based PC, and email me that info, and again, I simply email the changes, as in most cases I still have the original tuning files.

For anyone who has been tuned by someone else and wants our tuning, it would just be a fee for our tuning services, and we would again do baseline tuning in advance and send those files to the vehicle owner to load them into their XCal unit, etc.

For each person, we would have them complete our CPW's (Custom Program Worksheets) just like normal ahead of time, so we will know whose tuning we have to do from scratch, who we have already done the "baseline" tuning for to make sure we still have those files or make new ones if we don't (or if they are too old for our current databases, etc.), and get the baseline tuning done in advance so that everything goes smoothly.

My vote is for the cheapest route. Mike states it doesn't matter either way it will be done right.
