Then perhaps you are missing the point - the reason I said what I did is simply because as long as the vehicle is actually delivering it's commanded A/F ratios, then the performance tune is going to out-accelerate the towing tune - period. As long as the truck achieves it's commanded A/F (which can only be known by datalogging), then it's making more power and staying in the highest part of the torque band for longer compared to the towing tune - plain and simple.
There will be more difference in 1/4 mile times than in any shorter distance, and the why behind that should be obvious.
