Diablosport Delta Chip

Holy crap. I was satisfied, however not really happy with the blower setup I put on my 98 Navigator. It was definately stronger, but not what I was thinking by adding a blower. (5.4 2V with a powerdyne 9lb pulley, 3 inch custom dual exhaust with high flow cats and flowmaster 40's) I got the delta chip custom tuned by dugan racing (I assume some of you have heard of them, they are based here in GA though, luckily right down the street from me! ) Anyway, I put that delta chip in (Didn't have the time nor patience to wait on TP for a month or more when Diablo did it in 8 days) and man what a difference. I didn't know you could get 7200 pounds rolling that fast! I have to say that even though many people carry a disdain for powerdyne, this puppy strokes down the road! I know TP doesn't carry the Diablo line, and even though I know they probably won't, I can vouch for its effectivness. Unfortunately, being a 98, most tuners aren't compatible with my application, and a chip was basically my only choice, but I have no regrets on it! Its a one custom tune chip (I don't care about gas milage) and it was $369, to me in 8 days! I'm just stalking back and forth down the roads near my house searching for ricers!

You could have got the XCal2 for the same $$$ and been way ahead of the game with three custom tunes that are interchangeable in minutes. Good things are worth waiting for

JP - I'm with you - but variety is the spice of life.

Navi - I like your predatory nature.

I like having the peace of mind that Troyer isn't gonna let my truck lean out and grenade.... not that Navi's guy would either.
In the long run, if you data log, you can have Mike upgrade you tunes for more gain.

OH, after tonight, this is just the begginning. I am going to try and get on a dyno tomorrow and If I do I'll throw the results at you guys later. The install was really easy, except for the part where you ahve to remove the computer from a hole half the size of itself. (Thank you engineers) And the reaction from the car, well, best I can come up with right now, it will walk the dawg baby!
