question for tuning worksheet
Exactly - that's really for those who have more mods, like a blower or heads, etc. and tend to pull their plugs frequently - especially those who use copper-based plugs which *have* to be changed frequently - so *if* the vehicle owner has that info, we like to know it - otherwise no, don't bother pulling spark plugs to see what they look like!
thanks mike for all the help well the work sheets are done and ill be mailing them tomorrow ill enclose a note so you remember to change from the airraid to the af1after you recieve the sheets id like to talk to you about the datalogging a little bit thanks again for your help i look forward to talking to you. tony
Hi Tony,
You're very welcome.
Once you get your XCalibrator 2 & download the datalogging software it uses, the first thing to do is to fire it up & play with it and get familiar with it connected to your vehicle. The datalogging won't make much sense until you actually have the unit and can fire up the software, as the parameters look a little different for each vehicle when it connectors to your PCM. Once you have the unit & the software installed (our docs that you get with the XCal 2 go over all of that thoroughly), if you have any questions about the datalogging just give us a call & we can go over that with you, no problem!
Also, you can drop by the www.sctflash.com web site, and click on the link in the upper right corner that takes you to their software demo page, and watch the video lesson they have about using the LiveLink datalogging software - that will help you quite a bit as well - once again, it will make the most sense once you actually have the unit, but that is an additional resource that will teach you how to use the software.
God luck & talk to you soon,
