XCal2 problem, help please

I installed my new Xcal2 and after running with it for a day or two I was hearing some detonation or backfiring sounds coming from underneath the hood during hard accellerations. I didnt think too much of it. I thought it might clear up after a couple drive cycles. Then today it got really bad pulling some steep grades. The truck would hesitate really bad and spit and sputter accellerating up the grades.

I was thinking of just re-installing the 89 performance tune but I thought I would see what someone who new more than me would say. So, what should I do. Oh, by the way I just put in a new fuel filter and Im running good gas. Please help.

As has been stated here numerous times: "If you have a problem with a tuner then contact the vendor you bought it from". Who here knows more than the person who programmed it??? Nobody...

Hey Raider,

As you of all people should know, we're right here with our neck on the line every day - and you do NOT see any pattern of people having problems with detonation - but of course, acknowledging that would not suit YOUR stated purpose, which is to destroy us. Which of course will never happen - the only thing that happens when you run your ignorant mouth here is our phones right just that much harder with more orders.

As of this time, we have a grand total of ONE person - the individual who posted here instead of calling us first - who is complaining of detonation - and that is not anything normally seen in our tunes - as you well know, since you read every post just waiting for an opportunity to attack us like some sick jealous little clown.

I've told you before, and this is your last warning - keep it up and you will face legal action.
