looking for a chip or programmer for my 00 volkswagon jetta tdi, you know of anyone that makes one for that car? i've done some looking around on the net and can't find anything... thanks for the info

There's also an outfit in Toronto Ontario that was featured in a Canadian auto rag. The procedure involved removing the ECM ( accessed from the engine compartment firewall), reprogramming it, and reinstalling - some impressive gains were published. In my admittedly quick Search, I didn't find it. Next time I'm in my local lbrary, I'll look it up and post.

I don't know off the top of my head, but you might also try a company called "Autothority" - I know they were doing some of the VW's and Audi turbos a few years ago, and seemed to be doing a decent job - that;s about the best I can tell you.
