BAD coil pack!
BAD coil pack!
That was the problem I had after leaving the guys on Troyers Dyno day. Checked all the coil packs with a multitester and ohm tested each coil pack. I couldn't find a problem. Took out all the plugs and found the 3rd one back on the passanger side was wet with gas. Replaced that coil pack and took it for a spin, All better! Now to data log for Mike so he can update my tune some more!

Hi Rich,
You know, that's probably why power dropped so much on the last pull - I don't know if you remember, but from going over all your dyno data, we got 445 RWHP on your Bad Gas tune at 9 degrees of timing (wow!), then 455 HP on 10 degrees on your street tune (and by this time, it was badly heat-soaked), and then only 422 HP at 9 degrees on the 93 drag tune. So most likely that cylinder wasn't giving us much at that point, which is why it threw that P0353 code as soon as you pulled out to drive it. It sounded OK at idle, but just wasn't doing much under load, sounds like to me.
Glad to hear you found the issue and got that coil pack replaced (and hopefully replaced that plug, too, since it was fuel-soaked it'll never work right again), so now it will make some *serious* power. It would be a good idea to go ahead and replace ALL the coil packs, and to get a good ignition system upgrade - with that done, we can easily top well over 500 RWHP on it for you, I have no doubt.
Heck, now I want to have it back down here again and do some more dyno tuning on it, Rich!
Congrats on getting that taken care of Rich, & talk to you soon!

I replaced all the plugs with fresh ones. That one plug was definitly soaked with fuel. I only replaced 1 coil pack right now but will replace all of them real soon. Maybe a good ignition upgrade also. Thanks, also Mike, I don't think I will be able to get the data logs to you so I hope the truck run good enough at L-fest. Thanks and talk with you soon
