As soon as they come out with the one with the user adjustability, it's mine!

It really is D. I'm not easily impressed believe me but this thing really does wake up these 5.4's. You can definitely feel the power gains but the difference in the transmission feel is worth more to me. I'm almost afraid to load the 93 tune...I'm sure thats a death sentence for the BFG'S!

Nut - If I recall it's just a software upgrade they'll post on the website. Download & upgrade and your good to go. Why wait?

So Saj, you can really light 'em now huh? I can FINALLY chirp 'em a little from a standstill, and that's with the 1714 max perf tune, Magnaflow and K&N Drop-in...

Tuners are great, I got the 1745 because I am not going to do any heavy motor mods or anything like that. VERY happy with the 1745.
I would like to see a dyno comparison between the xcal and the 1745.
Anybody got that?

Yep DZ, if you just floor it from idle it will lay two stripes for at least ten feet before hooking. Before the tuner I could power brake it and burn em till the middle of next week but NO scratch from idle. I'm almost scared to try the power brake thing now. It is kind of funny to see a 3 ton truck lay rubber from a stop!

LOL! The story of every married man! My wife never stops me from getting what I want, she justs wants equal consideration... Funny how she can't balance the checkbook, but she has that running total in her head at all times!

Didn't stop me from ordering the XCal though, even though it cost me double, technically. Can't wait to post my own story, and keep feeding the fire!

Wife! LOL!

I know what you mean! I had to work a part time job to get the bucks to buy this "Under the RADAR!" What terrifys me is when she says, "Hey baby, can I borrow the truck?" I will have to say," OK lead foot! Just be careful that new exhaust I put on there gave it a lot more power!" (I got permission to do that!) This may end up in a big *** chewing for me, I here if you floor it it lays two big ole stripes down! Do you guys think I can pull off the deal? ROFLMAO!
Waiting !

I hear you bro... I'm still trying to figure out how to tell her that we "need" to switch to premium! My KR is bone stock right now, so maybe I should get an intake kit and explain that the additional airflow requires a higher octane fuel! Of course, that'll cost me double too...

Hey Okie, where in OK are you at? I was born and raised in OKC and lived in Tulsa for quite a few years before comng to California at the height of the dotcom era. You know, head West, young man, everybody is going to be a millionaire because of the World Wide Web! (I guess I don't have to tell you the rest of that story!) Anyway, the wife and I are thinking about moving back, getting homesick I guess.

Good Ole OKLAHOMA!

I was born and raised here in the Moore/Norman area. If you get back here send me an email and we can have a beer/coffee depending on your taste!
Peace Bros!
