Troyer Xcal2 delivers
I still have to wait until mid September, at this point, to test the towing tune under load.
However, I've run the 87 towing tune, without towing, for a tank and just installed the 93 performance tune yesterday.
The 87 towing tune is a major improvement over the stock tune. It's not very noticable under light acceleration, but under moderate to heavy acceleration, the throttle response, power and shifting are significantly improved.
The 93 performance tune goes beyound that. It is quite noticable in the exhaust tone, even at idle speed. When you start the truck, you know it's not the same. The increased power is noticable whenever you touch the gas pedal, regardless of how light the acceleration is. The acceleration is frankly remarkable for a vehicle this size.
