9400 tuner

Long time user, first time post.

I have an 03 F150 with code KGR2 and a Flowmaster cat back.

Question is: Will the "slowmaster" restrict any of the potential gains from a 9400 tuner? If so, how much of a loss, 1-2%

Thanks,

Horndoger

Here's a little info on the subject but it's not specific to exact hp loss

All of our vehicles wear Magnaflow - every single one of them - simply because it does the best job.

Hi Horn,

Don't worry about that "Slowmaster" as we call them in jest - you are still going to get the normal power gains from pour tuning.

The only real difference is that you get the results on the EXHAUST side of things that are representative of the Flowmaster systems, that's all - and a LOT of people love how they sound.

What I generally recommend is that if you like how that system performs,s you just hang on to it and enjoy it! And worst case, if you feel you just *have* to make some kind of change, keep the system and just swap out to an appropriate Magnaflow muffler.

If you decide that you want to do something like that, you can always give us a call and we cna make some recommendations for you based on what system you have now, and the exact body style of truck and your preferences.

However, the bottom line is, that Flowmaster system is NOT going to cause you to NOT enjoy the results of our custom tuning - so don't you worry about that, OK?
