Hi GP,
I'll explain it to you right here.....
No, you cannot do that in a custom tuner like that, you're still trying to one custom tuning device on multiple different vehicles, and you can't do that.
It doesn't matter that you want to use it on one vehicle at a time, you cannot do that with a custom tuner - it is locked to the first vehicle and stays that way, even if you uninstall it. There are some that have tried to get around that by using Extreme Tune software (the software used for email updates of XCalibrators) to unlock the tuner and then load it up with a different tune and take it to the next vehicle - but Extreme Tune doesn't work that way reliably, and there are numerous different revisions, many of which are no longer compatible with the current firmware & software on the dealer end. The unlock in Extreme Tune is a *file* unlock, that only allows you to do the type of unlock that enables an email update for tuning changes on the same vehicle.
Additionally, you can only VIN-unlock each tuner a maximum of a very small number of times before it's unusable anyway, and has to go back to the manufacturer. The bottom line is you will not be able to use one custom tuner to continue switching back and forth on 3 different vehicles like that, there's just no getting around the fact that you have to have a separate tuning device for each vehicle you want custom tuning for.
Now if you had say, a "regular" F-150 that was a 1996-2003 model, and then and a 1999-2003 Lightning, you could use a 1715 standard Superchips Micro tuner to switch back and forth between those 2 vehicles, we have some customers doing exactly that - but that's a *standard* tuner and it's only for trucks. You could do the same thing if you had say, 2 different Mustangs, like say a 2004 GT and a 2004 Cobra there's another "standard" Superchips Micro tuner that will work on all 2004 Mustangs, for example.
But there's just no way you're going to switch back and forth between 3 vehicles with one XCalibrator (or any such similar custom tuning flash device) like that.
Yes, we do have custom tuning available for the 2005 Mustangs in the XCalibrator 2 - and since you are a registered member here, we provide a special discount on this units for you that is not reflected in the price seen on our web site, so you'll want to call us for that info.
Whenever you get a chance, just give us a quick call at our number listed below & we'll be happy to go over all of that with you in proper detail - and if you'd like to work out a special deal so that you can get more than one tuner and get the best possible break, we work deals like that too, so that people with multiple vehicles can get the best deal on our Troyer Performance custom tuning, etc - just a thought.

You're very welcome GP, & congrats on your new 2006 Mustang order!
The new Mustang is a *great* car, Ford has done an excellent job on that new car - I hope they make more of them in 2006 than they made in 2005, so more people can get them!
