The Xcalibrator with 3 custom tunes done by Mike (Troyer Performance) IS THE BEST

Superchips Custom Tuning Xcalibrator (9300) for ALL OBD-II FoMoCo vehicles 1996-2005

Mike is the tune maestro!

I you'd like to try the Hypertech III for cheap - see this listing on ebay, can't beat the price: 7976078083

I would not buy a tuner on Ebay yet alone a Hypertec. You will have no support if something goes wrong. Not to mention a generic tune. It is well worth the Money to go with Mike T. His support and his tuning abilities are second to none. I've been with Mike for over 5 years.

Evo, you don't have to buy it - I just happen to have a new Hypertech available for anybody that would like one for a fair price. I'm including the original invoice so you can contact the original authorized seller if needed.

And I agree, Troyer is good...... I was not making any comparisons here so go easy on me.

Your first sentence was unclear to me. I thought you were looking to buy one. Sorry :o

Thanks for the classified suggestion - did that already, then listed it on ebay to move the unit along. Just want to give it a good home.

Hi Agular9,

Your question is the exact same thing that everyone who comes here wants to know (as you might imagine) - "what's the best?"

Reading some of the thousands upon thousands of answers to that same question that are already posted here (which you can quickly access by simply making use of the SEARCH feature) is the easiest way to get the info you want, directly from those who spent their hard-earned money and shared their results.

In terms of what will get you the best results, it's not a matter of which device you use, it's the actual *tuning* inside that makes the difference, and what will get you the best results in these vehicles is our custom tuning - you'll see better power & performance gains as well as improved driveability with our custom tuning over what you get with other products. We've specialized in performance tuning the F-series platform longer than anyone else, & assist other companies with developing various performance products for these vehicles. Most people come to us for our custom tuning for these vehicles due to our results.

If you'd like to go over any of this in more detail, please feel free to give us a call at our number listed below, we'll be happy to help.

Thanks for dropping by, & best of luck whatever you decide,
