Chip questions

Looking at gettin a few more ponies out of a couple Ford trucks, Trucks are 04 F150 with 5.4 and 05 F250 with V10. Looks like Troyer is the way to go. Will one programmer work on both of my trucks? I am wanting to pull the V10 in a local truck pull, wanting to know my best performance mods I can do and still have a good work truck.
Thanks for your help

Troyer is the way to go. You will have to get 2 different tuners since they are different motors. You won't be disappointed on the tune from Toyers. Hope this helps.

Hi Karter16,

Glad you dropped by, welcome to F-150 Online!

"jhoparmy" gave you excellent advice in his response - you do need a tuning device for each vehicle of course, that's one of "the basics," so to speak - just like each vehicle needs it's own tires, it's own engine, etc.

You've got a couple of *very* nice vehicles there - the new-for-2004 F-150 and the new 2005 V-10's are the best in their respective types of vehicles, with great handling, braking, comfort, smoothness, etc - they just need a bit of help in the get-up-and-go department, so to speak, as well as better driveability, and that's pretty easy to take care of - that's what we've specialized in for many years.

You can drop by our web site (the URL is listed below), and of course, the best thing to do is to give us a call at our number listed below & we'll be happy to go over everything with you in proper detail, talk about how you use your vehicles, etc., and exactly what we can do for you.

Thanks for dropping by, best of luck with your new trucks & hope to hear from you!
