Ok, I'll start by admitting I know very little about these chips and tuners I've been reading about. I tow a 5000lb. trailer and my F150 (2004 Screw, 5.4, 3V, 4wd) sometimes struggles up and down some smaller hills at interstate speeds.

I've been reading a bit about both chips and tuners and would really like to hear from someone who uses one specifically for towing to get HP gains.

definetly go with a superchips tuner. i believe the Superchips 1714 tuner is suitable for your application. you can also contact mike troyer about doing a custome tune in the tuner, as some have had a great bit of luck going that route.

as for towing applications, it will help. simply put.
