Editing Xcalibrator code....

Hi Mike etal,
I am just curious if the user can modify the tuning code? Is the source code available?

I also realize there has been alot of effort and long hours put into developing the performance code. I understand it can cause pervasive problems for the vehicle and perhaps safety issues if modified.

Would it be a proprietary issue or not to release the source code?

I have tackled quite a few code/software development projects for Automated Test Equipment in a manufacturing environment.

It's just a curiosity question.

I can tell you where to look at a lot of program lines that involve control functions, if that would be of interest.
For some lines, there are warnings stated about making setting to close to crossover functions involving related actions etc.
