trading in 1715

Mike,
I know you're a busy man so when I get a chance, I'll try and call you and ask(restaurant business is time demanding on me right now), but maybe you'll have a chance to respond to this and save us the time. I would just rather not deal with trying to sell it myself.

I bought a 1715 from you about 8 months back. I'd like to upgrade to the custom tune...can I trade it in?

kinda sounds cheesy, but I guess it's always better to ask.

Thanks
Scott

I’ve read post in this forum before that Troyer Performance does take trade-ins when you want to upgrade. You must want the Xcalibrator, right?

I do not think so...

I do not think you can trade in your 1715 tuner if it has ever been used. I traided mine in ( and paided the difference ) only becaues I had not even taken it out of the box...

The Superchips 1715 is a good tuner. The difference between the two is the Xcalibrator is a custom tune done specifically for your trucks PCM code. If properly set up it will give you 50% more hp & torque over the 1715.

Scottie B - I spoke to ANITA about doing the exact same thing. She told me that they don't do trade ups and that EBAYing or the equivilent will be your (our) best option. She further went on to say that it would be hard to accept (Troyers) used ones because of the condition "some" may be in.

I will be placing my order Tuesday for the 9300.
