1715 question

have had my 1715 for many months now, over half a year to be exact. and i put a post here about a month or more ago about my check engine light coming on and code read something about crankshaft position unknown or something to that effect. i messed around and put the tuner on tow perf and the check engine went away, well today it is warming up here in southwest ohio so i decided to tune it to performance setting, i did and drove it about 30-50 miles and what do you know, the check engine light came on. havent ran the code yet, but i'll bet my bottom dollar its that damn code about cranshaft position not learned or whatever.

hope someone can throw me a bone

Hi quagmeyer,

Hmm............we haven't ever seen any such pattern - and just off the top of my head, I don't recall any of our staff mentioning any of our customers calling us with that type of report in our sales meetings.

At any rate, the way to get to the bottom of this is a simple phone call to contact Superchips directly, as the documentation for the Micro Tuner points out if you think you have a problem.
Let the manufacturer know what's going on by giving them a call at the phone number listed there in your 1715's documentation, and let them take a look at this for you.
