Superchip and off topic, e-fans.....

Hi all,
This is off topic, kinda, but I hope to get Mike Troyers attention.

I traded '01 Screw for a '05 Screw.

I removed my Superchip and my Troyer dual e-fan setup.

Can I re-use my Superchip by reprogramming it for the '05 5.4 Screw?

Can I re-use my dual e-fans on the '05? If so, is there mounting rods and instructions available or will I have to do other mods to install them?

Thanks in advance...

The answer to your first question is no. The Xcalibrator, loaded with custom tunes from Troyer seems to be the most popular tuning for the 04-05 f150s around here. Don't know about the fans...Kevin

Hi Canyon,

No, the older style blue Superchip modules CANNOT be used on the new style F-150's - they have a completely different type of PCM that NO chip can be used on, those new PCM's have to be flashed. As "kevhunt" mentioned, we can take care of the tuning in the new trucks for you in the appropriate product, the Xcalibrator - which we load with our custom tuning for maximum power & performance gains. You'll *love* what our custom tuning does for those new trucks!

Now on your e-fan kit, YES! We can provide the additional parts & materials that will be needed to use the fans on the 2004 & up new style F-150's. They require some additional parts, as well as a couple of re-mount kits, etc. and a different installation manual - but yes, that certainly can be done so you can re-use the basic contents of your existing kit, no problem!

Just give us a call when you get a chance & we'll be happy to work all that out for you - we also have a trade-up allowance on those older style original Superchip modules that will help to reduce the cost of our custom tuning in the Xcalibrator a little bit as well.

Talk to you soon!
