"Quicktune 2005"
Forgot to mention....
A thought I'd had the first I'd heard of the SCT program was that they sure stabbed their dealers (tuners) in the back by releasing it along with the Xcalibrator.
Maybe I'm wrong about that but I think I'd be really upset by it if I was an SCT dealer who does tuning as part of my business.
Any thoughts about this??

I've looked at the program and read the posts on SCT Forum, but I have not used the program. I would hope that the program would only let you access and adjust the same type of things the 1714 and the 9100 did, i.e. shift points, firmness, tire/gear changes, etc. Personally, I wouldn't want to mess with anything associated with the actual tuning/timing of the engine for fear of screwing something up and causing internal damage! If this program provides the type of adjustments that were lost when they transitioned from the 1714/9100 to the XCalibrator, then I think it's a good thing, and a feature I'd like to have (once they get the codes for my truck! hint, hint...)! Just my 2 cents...

After looking at this program and going back and forth on the SCT form Quicktune looks like a neat toy but reminds me of Windows ME !!
It looks to me that the software is a joke , at least at this time.
Even if the software was great not sure what i would do with it, I am very good at Communications, but a truck tuner i am not!!!
I would love to be able to change tire size or maybe gears, but i pay someone for the best tune i can get (Mike Troyer)and i am not going to try to improve on what he has done!! (I dont believe that can be done)
just my thoughts,
Jason
