mac intake diablo chip
my 9100 dropped my 1/4 mile times considerably with more weight humidity and temps
261 MAX HP and 320 FT LBS TQ. 89 degree weather and 85% humidity and all runs were in 3rd gear with OD off.

Mods:

Tuner
Exhaust
Intake

Remember I have a Reg. Cab Short Bed 4x2 5.4L with 3.73Limited Slip diff. I weigh in at about 4900lbs curb weight. So, 260HP is moving this truck pretty quick.

Some HEMI members claim 320HP dyno with intake and exhaust. I dont see it. But, most of them I have seen are 270HP with TMR mod, exhaust and intake.

The tuner was the biggest help so far.

I heard some people saying that the older 5.4L 2 V was quicker than the new ones. My brother included, he said his 2002 would run circles around his 2004, and they were the same set-up.

I raced a R/C S/B 5.4L 4x2 with 3.55 diff and I beat him so bad his headlights were in my rearview. There was NO competition. These engines are strong. They just need a little TLC to get them going.

Uh oh, dont I recognize that name from an infamous site?

Just messin man. I have to head to Gainsville to get to one.

But anyway, I am out to help the bad rap we F-150 guys get for being slow. Maybe I have a factory freak motor, but I knew it was running strong. I have had 12.5 to 13 second vehicles before that I built. I had my Ranger in the 13's.

I know I can get this one in the 13's ALL MOTOR. Just takes tuning and the "right" bolt ons to do it.

After that, I am boosting it. Safely though, no obscene numbers for me. This is my daily driver. LOL!!!

I like coming to the Ford and Chevy sites to get the other side of the story, there is always two sides.

You've stirred some intrest over at dtw. You've got the fastest running 04+ F150 that I've heard of to date so I am curious to see what you can do with your truck. I still can't believe you've all ready gotten S a Superchips programmer, I had to wait almost 2 years for one for my hemi to come out.

Yeah, some of those guy get pretty worked up over there. I do this all in fun. I have been building engines and running for well over 10 years. I just never got into the heart of it.

I am new to all of this computer stuff. used to be very simple and you had a 13 second vehicle for cheap. I have always been fascinated by trucks and making them fast. For one I just dont fit into cars and two I think it is much cooler to make a 5000lb truck get up and whoop on some muscle cars.

Although I am new to the computer era mods, it all seems very relative to me. The tuner settings and what mods belong to what.

But, dont think I am bashing the HEMI. I never have. I just think the new 04 got a bad rap (engine wise) due to 4 speed tranny, lower gears and the obscene weight the new trucks have. What was Ford thinking? IMO, this engine responds to mods better than my old 4.6L or my bros 5.4L did and it has it in spades.

I really did see dramatic increases with all my mods except exhaust. The stock intake assy on this truck was the biggest POS, most restrictive set-up I had ever seen. I am sure there was logic behind it, but Ford has to realize that these days, 0 to 60 and 1/4 mile are just as important to most consumers as the towing is on trucks.

Oh, BTW Toe. You guys are welcome over her IMO. I could care less. I dont see how people can differentiate between a Dodge owner and a Ford owner. They look at it like some species separation.

Just in my shop alone we have a HEMI owner, F-150 Owner and a Titan owner, and next door is a Rumblebee owner....and we all hang out, drink beer and run together.

So, feel welcome in my book.
