Superchips Tuner for 2005 F150
Any idea when the Superchips Tuner will be available for a 2005 F150?
Also, is downloading upgrades going to be available for the Superchips Tuner any time soon?
Thanks in advance for your replies.

Hi DA,
Whenever the R&D gets done, basically. The 2005 F-150 uses a different PCM than the 2004's did, requiring additional R&D that is well underway.
As soon as it's available, we'll be announcing it right here. You can also drop us an email at: sales@troyerperformance.com and we'lll let you know automatically the instant it's availlable.
Congrats on your new truck!

That's interesting. Are you aware of any particular reason(s) for changing the PCMs already?
Thanks,
Hi John,
It's still a Power PC-based PCM - it's just the silver oak instead of the black oak version used in the 2004's. So it's not as big a change as say, going from the EEC-V to the Power PC, as happened from 2003 to 2004, but it is a change that requires soem more R&D.
Basically, it's just on-going refinement - we 2004 owners aren't missing anything with our black oak PCM's!
