Post Hey Mike T

Mike, can I have a copy of the installation instructions faxed to me for a superchip? Or mailed. I'm selling my chip and I no longer have the instructions to go with it. Thanks and I'm only selling it because I got rid of my L. It was great!!!

Thumbs up

Mickey88,

Completly off subject but I see you have a single 16" Permacool fan.

How do you like it? Have you done any towing? And do you drive in high temp conditions very often?

I'm considering it, but I want to feel completly confortable with it. I'm also waiting for Permacool to come out with kit the for the Fords...

Thanks.

I live in South Louisiana and yes it's very hot and humid. The truck runs very cool and it's been in the mid 90's lately. Flex a lite makes a duel kit for these trucks but it cost about 350.00. I think a dual setup would be best in case on went out you could still drive home, but I've had no problems with mine yet. It's 4 months old now. I only tow a boat but very seldom, so I'm not sure how that would affect it, but so far so good!!!

Hi Mikey,

Yes of course, we'll be more than happy to get you another copy of the documentation for your Superchip since you purchased it from us. Please just shoot us an email with your correct name & address, etc., and we'll snail-mail you a fresh copy of all the documentation we send out with the chips for the Lightnings, so you can give it to the new owner.

Also, as an added benefit for those who purchase their Superchips from us here at Performance Products, we will continue basic warranty coverage against outright failure of that Superchip moudule to the second owner, even though the manufacturer's warranty is only to the original owner. I don't know if perhaps you & I already discussed that in email possibly, but just in case, I wanted to let you know so you can tell the next owner, as that helps to sell them in many cases.

So please just shoot us a quick email so we'll know who you are (we just can't remember who's who most of the time with the screen names we all use here, sorry!) and where to & we'll take care of this ASAP!
