New 1714
Got my 1714 tuner from Troyer yesterday and retuned my '04 with it today.
MAN!!! Even the 87 octane tuning with no additional tweaks and no other mods wakes this truck right up! I can't wait to get the Airaid and Borla dual exhaust on along with the underdrive pulleys and the Performance tune.
The improvement makes you wonder why they don't just come from the factory like this.

Hi MM,
Only the later (Job 2) '04's got that flareside bed style - that can't be had on the SuperCrew Lariats, unfortunately, and all our past F-150's have been flaresides - until the 2004. That's a very nice looking 2004 you have there, the '04 FX4 w/flareside bed looks great!
Glad you like the 1714 - it's a nice easy way to pick up another 20 peak HP at the wheels, and even more down low, on the premium gas tuning. Even on the 87 octane program you can feel an improvement in the 2004's weak spot, the lower rpm part-throttle response.
