Hi F-150 Ram Air,

Uh-oh, sounds like you've got Superchip anticipation about as bad as "Fast" had it until his arrived today!

I would suggest even though you've installed a Hypertech chip before, to please take a few extra minutes to read through all of our documentation, as we include specific tips on how to do the installation so you can feel as much of the difference as soon as possible, etc. Some of this will be familiar to you already of course, but there is a good deal of info that probably wasn't mentioned in the Hypertech documentation, so you might want to take a good look thru all of that.

Good luck with your installation (after doing 2 of them you'll be an "old pro")& we hope you enjoy it!

Or did you not get it in yet?
I talked to Mike today and I should have mine Monday and you bet it will be in monday night w/ reports to follow soon after.
Let me know how you made out.

Good to see another south jersey-ite on the boards. You will be very happy with your chip. Except the whole premium gas thing... (grumble grumble) J/K It's very worth it.

Cool

O.K. Sorry to take so long to get back. Helloe, your gonna love it. It's not top fuel. But it's worth the wait. It got rid of that slush shift you get with fords trannys. It goes right on thru the gears. Your gonna love it. The truck feels better. Reacts better. Runs better. Sounds better. It's such a beautiful thing. I'm glad I made the switch. Thanks Mike.
Helloe, let me know how you make out when you get yours. That chip and your 5.4 , WOW, your in for the ride of your life my friend. Good luck. I'll talk to you later.

Thumbs up

sprhck,

Good to see another South Jersy-ite also. Yea, i'm pretty much new to the site. I wish I had knew about this site earlier. Alot of knowledge going on at this place. You got pretty much any answer to any question. I got a 1997 myself. Flareside shortbed, ORP. Got the 4.6 though, but, I'm happy with it. Same gears. Nice truck. I only got 37,000 on it. It's still a virgin with only that many miles on it. I love that truck. My wife thinks I love that truck too much. If only that truck could cook. Hope to talk to you later. Us South Jersey people have to stick together.

sprhck,

Thanks for the invite. But I can't make it. I'll be in Englishtown for the Matco Spring Nationals both sat. and sun. Drag racing baby. Been waiting for this for 7 months. I'll go to Maple Grove when it's the Fall Nationals. Got to get them when they come. I was reading the post for Paramus. looks like a good time. I wish I could make it. Hopefully there be a next time. May a little closer too. But , if not that's ok. If you hear of any others, let me know. I'll do the same. Have fun sunday and be careful out there.

Speaking of getting together, we'll be making the announcement of the firm dates for the Second Annual F-150 Online National Rally here in the next week or so. It's held each year in Norfolk, Virginia, and we usually have free concerts, a drag strip event, a show-n-shine (this year's addition hopefully), etc.

The Webmaster here will post a registration form for all of this, and we'll be making the "official" announcement in the "Events & Happenings" section of the message boards here, so keep your eyes peeled, and maybe we'll get to meet you at this year's Rally!
