Post PAGING MIKE TROYER!!

Hey Mike, my brother resently sold his 98 F150 4X4 5.4L and said he would give me his superchip for my 99 4x4 EXPEDITION 5.4. I'm assuming I will need to have it reprogrammed. How much would it run to have it reprogrammed??? Also, I have a 93 F150 LIGHTNING 5.8L. Any chance I could use this chip on a 93 with reprogramming??? You can email me at JEGuy6@aol.com. Thanks. I have absolutely no experience with these chips, so please overlook my ignorence!!!

Hi sixguy,

Yes, you're exactly correct, that Superchip will need to be reprogrammed to match the computer code of your 1999 Expedition, and yes, we should be able to do that for you no problem. We can reprogram it for either the Expedition or that '93 Lightning.

For pricing, details, etc. please give us a call at our number listed below, or just shoot us a quick email, and we'll be happy to get you that info right away, our contact info is just below for your convenience. Given the fact that you've got a couple of different vehicles you're thinking of using it on, you might just want to give us a call so we can go over all of that with you, which we're happy to do, of course. If you'd like to call, we're here M-F 10am-7pm Eastern, and we have 24 hr. voicemail if you need to call after hours. We'll be happy to return the call, just leave us a number and a good time to call you.

To locate the computer code of your Expedition, go to the passenger side of the vehicle and open the front door. Then look in the front part of the door frame, in between the door hinges, and that is normally where they place the code stickers. That code will be 3 letters and 1 number.

to find the code of your Lightning, open the driver's door, and then look in the same basic area, in the front part of the door frame in the area of the door hinges. Those 1st.-generation Lightning codes are usually something like ICY1, ICY2, C3P2, etc. If you don't see a code sticker there, then you can just go to the computer, which is behind the driver's kick panel, so just pull that panel and then look on the computer for it's code sticker.

We look forward to working with you,
