Newest Mod and question
I installed a Pemacool 16" electic fan and so far so good. It really "pulls" alot and my truck runs about the same temp. can I install an aftermarket temp guage and still keep the factoy one in working order? It' not summer yet so I want to keep a close eye on it as it heats up here in Louisiana. I'll probably install a 14" which pulls the same 2950 cfm to a manual switch just in case. Thanks in advance and I plan on going to the track Friday to try it out.

Hi Mikey,
Sure, you can usually do that in most vehicles. Sometimes you'll just need to install a "T" fitting so you can have both probes taking info from the same locaiton, or just install the probe from the aftermarket temperature gauge in a different place, either way.
There's a way to do this on just about any vehicle.
Good luck & let us know how it goes!
Oh, I almost forgot, congatulations on doing your conversion over to electric cooling fans!

Hi Mikey,
Usually the aftermarket gauges work much better than the factory units, which is why so many people install aftermarket gauges.
