Question reprogram?

If I install an airraid intake on my truck do I need to get my chip reprogramed?

K&N Air Filter
SUPERCHIP!
Westin Grille Guard
2 (for now) 165 watt KC Daylighters
Must...Resit...Mudder...Syndrome.....

Future Plans
Hidden winch (Warn or Ramsey)
Lift???

HI!... No re-program is needed for the following mods:

HEADERS
PULLEYS
ELECTRIC FANS
EXHAUST
RELOCATED AIR TEMP SENSOR
PORTED TB
PORTED TB ELBOW
GEARS (except for speedo recalibration)

You do have to have your SUPERCHIP re-calibrated (custom program) for a :

NITROUS
SUPERCHARGER
PORTED INTAKE MANIFOLD
PORTED CYLINDER HEADS
AFTERMARKET MAF (PRO-M)
and YOU CAN GET A SPEICAL HEADER PROGRAM WORTH ABOUT 3-5H.P extra.

Hi sprhck,

No, you don't need any changes in the Superchip program, so you'll be fine with that modification.

Neal did a good job of covering the basics of the types of mods that do and do not require custom programming compensation.
