err..
it's a harley - so it has standard stuff
5.4L V8, 20" wheels, 3.73 rear, superchip... that's about it... no fipk, no tb spacer.
still 10 mpg.... ouch! fuel's $1.69/gal... $40/tank's gonna get a little much after a while.

i'm not sure why it is so low..
i get about 15 mpg around town, and get 18 on the highway..
that may improve when I get my hard tonneau in a couple weeks.

My 2000 Harley truck started out at about 12.5 MPG. After adding a K&N FIPK and a Superchip, plus about 4500 miles I'm now getting between 17 and 18 MPG. If your truck doesnt improve I would think there is a problem. Yours is heavier than mine but 10 MPG is ridiculous!!

Super Crew's are the among the very heaviest configurations of the F-150 available, so they're never going to get "good" mileage, either stock or modified.
Without seeing how you're operating your vehicle, it's impossible to tell if 10 mpg is a reasonable figure or not, there are too many other factors involved. Also, due to the rather extreme differences in weight based on configuration in these F-150's, you cannot compare your mileage results to any other F-150 except another 5.4 3.73-geared Super Crew. (I'm assuming that's your configuration)
It takes anywhere from a minimum of 4000 to as much as 8000 miles on a brand new vehicle before you will see the engine make it's peak power and get it's best mileage, just in case you may not be there yet.
The only way your gas mileage can ever go down using the Superchip is if you either drive it harder than you did before chipping it, or if the premium gas you're using now has a lower energy content than the regular gas that was previously being used before installing the chip.
Generally speaking, Texaco tends to have one of the consistently higher energy contents, so it's usually one of the best fuels available in any given geographic area. There are of course exceptions, so if you want to see which gas is going to give you the best results where you are, use 3-5 tanks of each different brand in your area, and use the one that gives the highest mileage results under the same driving conditions. (Note: You can skip evaluating Exxon, as it is consistently lower in energy content compared to almost any other "name brand" fuel in all 50 states, as it is "reformulated" year-round and has been for a few years now .)
Good luck!
