Is the TruSpeed calibrator any good?
I recently saw an add in a magazine for the "TruSpeed" speed signal calibrator. They claim it can fix the speedometer and odometer from the use of bigger tires or gear ratio changes. It is sold on Tyres International (www.tyres1.com). The company's website is (www.speedcalibrator.com). Does anybody know if this product works or is worth purchasing?

Hi MyFordTruck98,
No, I can't tell you anything about that device unfortunately, sorry. We'd love to hear some feedback on it!
What I can tell you is that up thru and including the 1998 model year, just in case you didn't already know, your F-150 still uses a traditional reduction gear in the tailshaft of the transmission, so you can do that very easily and cheaper, as reduction gears cost about $17 or so at a Ford parts counter.
Good luck!
