4.0 HO Ranger
This is for a friend.. He has a 4.0 HO (High Output)in his 2000 ranger and wants to chip it. What do I have to do to order it for him.
I think his engine can burn gas or ehenal??
Is there a # I have to take down or just the engine?? how about a phone # or fax?
P.S I am in canada MB, and would like good service should anything happen to the chip.
Plus I need one for my 2000 F-150 v-6 ext cab. Thanks

Sure, both of you can just get in touch with us, our contact info is just below in our signature line, and we'll be happy to go over all the details with you for each of those vehicles.
We will need to know the year, make, model, engine size, transmission type (manual or auto) & computer code of each vehicle. Everything but the computer code is of course self-explanatory. To find the computer code for that Ranger, just open the hood and look for a small white sticker that has 3 letters and 1 number on it. That sticker could be on the firewall near the computer (which is mounted in a recess at the top of the firewall, just left of center), or it could be on the inner fender ledge where the fender bolts to the body, near the cowl (base of the windshield, but still under the hood), etc.
To locate the computer code of your F-150, simply go to the passenger side of the vehicle and open the passenger door (front door if it's a 4-dr. model); then look in the front part of the door frame, in the area of the door hinges, and there you will see a sticker that has 3 letters and 1 number on it and that is your computer code, very easy!
