Thumbs up Can You Smell It?

O.K., I'm no grandma behind the wheel, but I'm not out there cruising, looking for red lights and Chevys neither.

But Saturday I went to a wedding. On the way to the reception, a co-worker and his wife pull up next to me at a red light in their Grand Cherokee. He honks and points up the road. I know, I know, not much of mark.

My girlfriend looks at me and tells me to "do it." After realizing she meant hammer it and not the other "do it," I proceeding to put the pedal horizontal.

As I've said, I love the speed and all, but I rarely do this. Well lo and behold, I left some rubber at the light! A Super Cab with 17-inch wheels and ORP! Never would've thunk it.

My girlfriend was all a-twitter. Goes without saying, with that reaction, I'm gonna need new tires real quick!

Da chip...it works.

* 2000 F-150 XLT Black FS; 5.4L; 4x4 ORP
* Da Flip Chip! * 3.55 Limited Slip * Stepups
* Sliding Rear Window * 6-Way Power Seat
* Remote Keyless Entry
* Lund Trident Bug Shield * Custom Exhaust
* Fumoto Oil Drain Plug Valve (a must for do-it-yourselfers!)
* Wise Bedrug

So many mods, so little cash! On the up side, no wife to create a filibuster.

Hi ragarm,

You're right, you did good to turn the tires over like that in a heavier F-150 configuration.

Sounds like you have a fun & supportive girlfriend there Ragarm, good for you!

Very astute young Grasshopper Bateman! Concentration be very important at moment of rubber, yet hard to attain with pretty lady nearby!

Mornin' BossHog! (Does yon wife partake in Daisy Dukes?)

Anyway, pass this on to the Mrs...one of my favorite quotes from three of my favorite people: "Wake up and go to sleep!"
