Talking Mike,a chip for an 86 E-150?

I think we talked about this when I ordered my chip last year. I have an 86 E-150 that weighed 5300 pounds, before the conversion company got a hold of it. This behemoth has a FI 5.0 for an engine,it can't even get out of it's own way,lol.... Is there a Superchip available for this vehicle? I can search for the comp. code if you need it,thanks,,,,,98

Hi Screamer,

Sorry I was a bit slow to respond, we tried getting our DirecPC system up and running again this weekend to no avail, it only caused more problems, so hours later, we're now at least able to connect using a silly 56K dialup, grrrr...........

As long as it's compiuter controlled and fuel injected, then we can probably make a Superchip for it. Wer will of course need to know that vehicle's computer code to tell you if we have it already done or not, so you'll need to check that and get back to us.

The computer should be behind the Driver's kick panel, so you can just pull that panel, and then read the code sticker on the computer.

Let us know if you have any trouble finding the code. By the way, in those older EFI's, the computer code can be 2, 3 or 4 digits, they aren't always 3 letters and 1 number like all the newer ones are. Just write down everything you find on the sticker(s) on the computer, and shoot that info to us in email, and we can check it out for you.

Good luck!
