Question Is the sensors worth it

I was looking on ebay and I saw these sensors that say that they would add up to 20 hp. They replace the sensor and tells the computer that it is getting cold air and frees up hp. Does this work or will it hurt your truck?

jeffallred,

By reporting inaccurate(lower than actual temp) intake air temps to the ECU it will "trick" it into delivering more fuel then is optimal. In some rare circcumstances this will add a little more power. Most of the time it will cause your engine to run rich and waste gasoline.
