Well I installed my chip...and holy s**t its about time the engine started behaving this way. Kudos to Superchips. Because of this site I never once look at the instructions.

1998 F150 STX 4.6L V8 Black w/Grey int. 6 disc CD-Changer, 5% tint, 2" drop shackles, CheckMate Flush Style bed cover, clear corners, SS Speed Grille w/ bumper, Superchip, Airaid, Mangecor KV8.5 wires, Bosch Plat +4, and Jardine Cat-Back single out.
Future Mods:
Pro-M, Pulleys, Carbon Fiber, Headers, High Flow Cats, sway bars, and Edlebrock shocks.

Glad to hear your installation went smoothly, but you might want to go over the additional documentation that we write, as it contains important information that you need to know as an owner of a performance chip, so please do give it a read when you get a chance!
That does say a lot about all the information available here, to be able to do that without using the instructions.

you better read some of those instructions for the optimum output there guy....One for instance...properly securing...would hate to c ya on the line with one of those chevy boys and you floor it and your chip pops out ...hehehehe John from NC
